Understanding that not everyones life path takes them through college, and that our country is dependent on highly-skilled tradespeople who have not found secondary education to be necessary, the Federal government should provide financial assistance to trade schools throughout the country and support for those entering into trade schools. This is an investment in our future – skilled trades people contribute back to society everyday, will repay any financial assistance received in the form of higher taxes due to increased skills and will require less public assistance than unskilled worker
I would support future studies to determine what level of financial support is required to support trade schools and to incentivize citizens to enter the trades.
